Journey of my Hair Fall

Hi everyone, after a long time I am once again posting in this blog. Everything was going so well that I never thought I have again blog, but something happened which made me again post here and let you know what happened to me in these days. Maybe this will help you not to make the mistake that I made after all how much ever we read articles for PCOS its always less, many new articles let us know the different experience of other girls and women.

One year back I my hair fall seemed to be like increasing so I decided to do take supplements of fish oil which contains protein which could be beneficial for my hair. But then within four days I got one side effect and that was every morning I could see so many hair strands on my pillow. I was in a shock that how come this is happening as before this I had never lost any hair while I am asleep. This was a bad step and so I stopped taking the taking the supplements.  After that my hair fall increasing and it was making me tense. So I started searching online for any remedies, I couldn't find anything which could help me to deal with it. Finally decided to visit my gynecologist who had helped me make my periods regular. She didn't gave me any advice for this hair fall so I thought I need to find a doctor who could help me in this. I started browsing where I came to know that due to hormonal changes we have hair fall in PCOS and well a endocrinologist doctor is the one who we all have to meet as a women who is diagnosed with pcos have many symptoms like acne, hair fall, extra growth of hair on face, chest and all.

So soon I searched an Endocrinologist doctor nearby my area and gave a visit. I said the doctor about my PCOS and then he gave me supplements to make my hormones stable. He even took a blood test during my fifth day of periods. In the reports it showed male hormones are higher than female. He said to take five months treatment where I used to take three pills, one was birth control rest two were related to hormones.
I could see the change in my hair-fall, It was less but when that session was over my hair started falling badly and at present its more and more everyday. I just touch the bottom tip of my hair and so many hair strings comes out. I am so stressed and tensed. At present doctor has given me strict diet routine with exercise and two supplements. I see no change as it has been two weeks, but trying to be positive as I have to start exercising and change my lifestyle then only I am sure will be able to see the change. I have lost half of my hair I am hoping that it regrows.

By this I can say birth control pills only slows the hair-fall, once you stop taking it you can see the side effects, I am searching for more solutions. My hair is dry at present so application of oil for night is good in a week.

Endocrinologist doctor is necessary to visit as that doctor can help balance your hormones and then rest all depends how to further help yourself.

Happy 1st Anniversary to my blog

Hey all, finally I realized that its 28th December 2011 and it has been one year since I am blogging. I am happy that in this one year I was in touch with my blog and the main reason for me to start blogging is just because of this pcos syndrome. I was affected because of it and I just wanted a way out of it. I love to share any problems with others as by doing that I am helping myself in finding a way out of it. But this thing was quite personal so I decided to blog and share it. I am happy that now I am not facing much problems which I used to face one year back. Maybe this blog really helped to overcome pcos and I am happy for that reason. I just hope to continue to blog and next year to double the post and be happy. :) See you soon. Take care.

Quick fix for a limp hair

There are days when you feel that your hair is not looking right or something is off with your hairstyle. These are the bad hair days that everyone gets sometimes. You may find yourself trying to fix your hair to get back your hair in shape but something goes wrong, maybe the shampoo or the conditioner.

Here are some quick tips which have helped me and hope it helps you somehow :
> After shampooing, blow-dry your hair upside down for few minutes. This could help to add more volume and make hair look more bouncy.

> Make your hair smell good. A simple and innovative way out is to spray some perfume onto comb or hair brush and then comb your hair. This will add a subtle fragrance in your hair and make you feel good!

> If you are tempted to get well styled hair, the way they to it in salons, then towel dry your wet hair and segregate it into many sections. Pick each section at a time and blow dry using round brush.

> According to your dress, opt for a high pony or leave your hair open. You can also use a hairband or a bright hair clip if you want to add a girly appeal. I love to add some accessories to my hair. These are styles you can add on it into your hair.
