Quick fix for a limp hair
There are days when you feel that your hair is not looking right or something is off with your hairstyle. These are the bad hair days that everyone gets sometimes. You may find yourself trying to fix your hair to get back your hair in shape but something goes wrong, maybe the shampoo or the conditioner.
Here are some quick tips which have helped me and hope it helps you somehow :
> After shampooing, blow-dry your hair upside down for few minutes. This could help to add more volume and make hair look more bouncy.
> Make your hair smell good. A simple and innovative way out is to spray some perfume onto comb or hair brush and then comb your hair. This will add a subtle fragrance in your hair and make you feel good!
> If you are tempted to get well styled hair, the way they to it in salons, then towel dry your wet hair and segregate it into many sections. Pick each section at a time and blow dry using round brush.
> According to your dress, opt for a high pony or leave your hair open. You can also use a hairband or a bright hair clip if you want to add a girly appeal. I love to add some accessories to my hair. These are styles you can add on it into your hair.

Foods for your mood
Sometimes it happens to us that we are in a position that we feel like having specific food as we maybe depressed or happy. We eat chocolates to celebrate something or when we are happy and sometime when are sad we eat loads of junk food. These happens with everybody some or the other day. Why is that whenever we feel upset or depressed about something many of us automatically find ourselves reaching out for our favorite food? Or why is a celebration always associated with chocolate or sweets? Its all because what we want is comfort food. I had read an article about some food items which gives comfort to our mood. Though consuming these food items regularly is not good as it may adversely affect your health due to their high calories or fat content. But consuming it not frequent basis doesn't create that bad affect.
Dark chocolate :
Chocolates, in general are loaded with chemicals that enhance mood, serotonin in particular, whose release is triggered when chocolate is consumed. It also said that chocolate contains some of the same mood enhancing chemicals. Dark chocolates is especially good as it contains a higher percentage of coca and less sugar than milk chocolate. The anti-oxidants and flavonoids present in dark chocolate help to reduce blood clot formation, cancer and heart disease. And since too much of anything is bad, dark chocolate should be eaten in moderation, especially by those who are watching their weight.
Oranges :
Oranges are a rich source of vitamin C containing up to 1000mg of it. They also contain antioxidants which prevent the formation of free radicals that cause cell damage. When the body is stressed, it releases even more free radicals than usual. Therefore, vitamin C offers the body protection from their harmful effects. Incidentally, Vitamin C is a proven immune system booster.
Green Vegetables :
You may not like the look green vegetables so do I. Still we all know they have a lot to offer in terms of health benefits. Broccoli is packed with Vitamin B and folic acid. It provides stress relief, helps to enhance mood with with regard to depression, panic, anxiety and other emotional disorders. Many green veggies contain potassium which greatly helps calm one's nerves when stressed. Also, a diet rich in green vegetables helps the body feel lighter and feel great.
Yogurt :
Besides being a good source of protein, calcium and vitamin B12, yogurt also contains a whole lot of useful bacteria. It is good for digestion and stomach infection and helps to improve the body immune system. So if you are carving for something sweet, try out a bowl of yogurt with a spoon of honey added to it. It will make you happy and keep you healthy too.
Asparagus :
Asparagus is rich in folic acid and contains magnesium that are famed for their mood lightening properties. Most importantly, it is low on calories and does not contain fat or cholesterol. Incidentally it belongs to the same plant family as leeks, garlic and onions. Baby asparagus stalks are tender, crunchy and tasty all the same time making them perfect anytime snack.
Nuts :
Various nuts like almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts and even peanuts are packed with vitamins and nutrients. Almonds are know to contain serotonin, Vitamin E, vitamin B2 also known as Riboflavin and anti-ox-dants that improve immune system. They are also known to cut down the harmful effects of stress. Next time when you are feeling down, help yourself to some crunchy nuts.
Water:
Though water cannot be classified as a food item, it plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the body. Drinking lots of water is essential to maintain good skin, hair and eyes. And why is that important? Because when you look good, you also feel good. Lack of consumption of water leads to dehydration and even small case of dehydration can cause stress. SO drink up as I have started doing it.

The truth about Sugar

Last week I read an article describing what sugar is and what it is good for us. I am posting this thing here as I thought it is important for us to know about SUGAR. People diagnosed with polystic ovaries syndrome should take care of intake of sugar a lot, as it leads to dangerous disease such as diabetes. So I thought it is good for us to know something more about sugar.
First for this we should understand sugar, for that we should know what kind of sugar we intake. I myself take sugar from grocery store and that is refined sugar. It is a processed with many chemical substances such as sulphur dioxide, activated carbon, calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid, which in turn takes away all the nutrients. This sugar is what we intake in our daily life.
It is interesting to know that lot of people think raw sugar is a natural sugar, but the fact is that it is also refined sugar. The go through a process where they are washed, boiled, filtered and dried. This process removes all the necessary nutrients from the sugar left with artificial sweetness. And I hope all know that artificial sweetness is more harmful than refined sugar.
Sugar is a very deadly addiction and due to this people suffer various health issues and diseases. So what’s good for us? Intrinsic sugars are the natural sugars. This can be found in fruits and vegetables. It is best way to intake sugar naturally, these fruits and vegetables are not refined so intake of this sugar wouldn’t harm in anyway. Proper intake of fruit and vegetable daily will help to keep a balance in your diet with the amount of sugar to intake and live a healthy lifestyle.
Report for the day!

Hey everybody, how are you all? I am doing fine and happy. Yea I know it is after such a long time I am posting here. I was unable to blog from past few months as I was busy in some or the other things. My life is going very well so as my periods. After one year I did some test to check that what all improvements I have made in this one year with this polystic ovaries syndrome. I did sonography and in that test I came to know that there is an improvement in my periods. Now I get regular periods and within the due date. Happy for that, but sometimes its late as I don’t have a proper lifestyle. Earlier, I used to eat anything and at anytime, now I take care of what I intake. I must say it is quite difficult to control the taste and live a healthy lifestyle by just having fruits and vegetables. I am trying to improve myself and still sometimes I do cheat ;) Still it’s good for me as I am trying to improve and I am happy for that.

Hair Treatment
This is one of the techniques for hair treatment. I thought
it will help you also. My hair had become rough and dry due to this pcos. But
this one technique has helped to gain shine on it.
Banana treatment: Blend completely ripped bananas should be
taken for this treatment, 2 will do for medium hair. Mashed it into mixer with
1tsp milk. Apply it on hair completely. Keep it for one hour {It will stink
though} and then wash it with a mild shampoo. There you go back again with your
shine.
This treatment really works i have done it and even mehndi
will do. For keeping the shine in the hair forever, you need to do this
treatment at-least 2times in a month.

First fifteen minutes
Oh my god what can I say. Today was my first day to try zumba. In the evening when I didn’t feel like to go for a evening walk i decided to start up with zumba. I learned the steps but within 10minutes my right leg nerve started with a pain and went on till the night. It was after a long time I was dancing and it was a very sporty dance. I liked it but just stopped after during 5sessions. I think for the start-up this is the best thing. Anyways I will just upload few sessions which would help you to get a start-up.

Fun fitness plan
This is something new i have started. Basically i am not allowed to go to gym, so it is difficult for me to maintain my weight. I do go for evening walks but due to some or the other reason i am unable to go every day. These days i am much tensed. It’s all because i am unemployed. I was working before but it created a health issue so i had to quit. I try to divert my mind by reading books and watching movies, but this does not help me to control my way na? So finally i have come up with something new.
Zumba- cardio exercise is the name, which is a dancing exercise. I have kept it to download, within few days i will try it. I love to dance and this is the best way to control my weight with dancing. I have even heard about that zumba helps in losing the weight for the women suffering from polystic ovaries syndrome. I am pretty sure this will help me to reduce my weight. I will update you more about it when it really works on me.

My friend allowed me to fulfill my wish
Finally the day arrived when my friend allowed me to fulfill my wish. i.e to have burger and pizza. I got a very different experience from it. I had many fights with my friend to let me have these food items, but he did not agree. He was more concern about my health rather than fulfilling my wish. But you know what? I was not happy after having it. First of all i had it after such a long time may be 7 to 8months. It came to see that i didn't like consuming it how i used to have it before. Anyways i am happy that i understood that it is not what i want anymore as it doesn't satisfy the need. And it is good that i don't consume it anymore as it will affect my health.

Can't stop thinking ?????
Hey everybody,
This time my periods date cycle are late. Its like about one week late. But frankly speaking from last two months i have not visited the doctor yet. Its only because last time my doctor had said me to take a sonography test and then visit so that we can see where i stand. But i am not taking it seriously and consuming anything which i like on daily basis. The most important thing is that i cant stop thinking about not consuming all the yummy foods. From past 2months i am consuming loads of outside food, junk food, street food which is not at all good for my health but still i cannot stop myself eating.
Due to all these food items that i intake every day my body and especially my tummy size is increasing. I really cant stop thinking about all these yummy and mouthwatering food items. But to improve my health i got to stop consuming all these items.
