Hello everybody..!

If you have often heard or read about PCOS syndrome and wonder what it is, then this simple and easy to read article for you.

PCOS syndrome, or its full name Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, is actually a set of complications that are related to having multiple ovarian cysts in an ovary. It is possible for a woman to have a polycystic ovary without PCOS syndrome but all women with PCOS syndrome involve the presence of a polycystic ovary.

Polycystic simply means having multiple cysts. This can lead to a host of complications such as bleeding, twisting of the ovaries and others. Outwardly, some of the symptoms of PCOS syndrome include:

1. Acne
2. Obesity or inability to lose weight
3. Thinning of scalp hair
4. Extra hair on body or face

Inwardly, symptoms of PCOS syndrome include:

1. Absent or irregular menses
2. High blood pressure
3. Insulin resistance and possibly diabetes
4. Hormone imbalances

Serious symptoms that require urgent medical attention include:

1. Sudden, sharp and severe abdominal or pelvic pain
2. Pain with fever or sometimes vomiting
3. Rapid breathing
4. Dizziness, fainting or weakness

In many cases, it will subside by itself. However, to drastically reduce or even eliminate PCOS syndrome requires a conscious effort on your part to change the root causes of this condition. There are many causes including your genetic makeup, but the root causes that you can influence include the following:

1. Your diet - What you eat or do not eat
2. Your immune system - How healthy or unhealthy it is
3. Your toxin intake - how much you allow into your body
4. Your stress levels - whether you are able to keep it at low levels or not

Therefore, the key to maintaining a healthy body that keeps PCOS syndrome away lies in adopting natural healing principles..
